Hello!

I'm a PhD student working to ensure that technology has a positive impact on people's lives. My most recent research concerns misinformation on social media, and how effective a new misinformation-fighting intervention is at mitigating its spread.

I studied statistics as an undergrad and began my career as a data scientist at a consulting firm. Nowadays my research relies on a variety of quantitative methods, from traditional statistics and causal inference to machine learning and newer NLP, CV, or speech processing techniques.
